Lindsay Woessner received her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from West Chester University in 2010 with a minor in Music History. While at West Chester Lindsay studied the organ as her minor instrument, and has held positions as an organist and choir director at several churches throughout Chester County. Lindsay strives to challenge herself to musically and as an educator, through her own practice, as well as further developing her ability to weave advanced music theory concepts into her instruction methods.
In addition to her experience as a musician, Lindsay has also worked as an Arts Administrator for several years, and having held positions with arts organizations such as Longwood Gardens, the Roots Agency, the New York Summer Music Festival, Dancing Classrooms Philly, and Musicopia.
Lindsay's greatest passion is teaching. Her experience with teaching very young students has allowed her to develop specific teaching methods that allow these beginner musicians to grasp foundational and complex concepts. In recent years she has gotten to teach many adult students, including professional performers seeking to improve their theory and piano skills. Lindsay seeks to inspire each of her students by engaging them with her energy and passion for music.
